Anti-condensation design for chilled water and HVAC applications
An anti-condensation butterfly valve is a quarter-turn flow control device engineered for chilled water, refrigeration, and low-temperature HVAC systems where conventional valves are prone to surface sweating.
Working Principle
Condensation occurs when the surface temperature falls below the dew-point temperature of ambient air. The anti‑condensation butterfly valve adopts a long heat‑insulating neck and aluminum alloy body to reduce cold transfer from low‑temperature medium to the outer surface, keeping the outer shell above dew‑point to avoid condensation dripping.
