In the metallurgical industry, ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves, and globe valves are extensively employed for various applications including fluid control, gas handling, and material processing.
Butterfly valves are employed in metallurgical flue gas treatment systems (such as desulfurization and particulate removal pipelines) or cooling water systems. They feature wear-resistant linings (rubber, PTFE) or strong metal seals (Stellite alloys) for high-temperature and abrasive conditions.
Ball valves are used for conveying high-pressure gaseous or liquid media (oxygen, nitrogen, hydraulic systems) and high-temperature molten metals (copper and aluminum smelting). They offer excellent sealing capabilities, minimal flow resistance, high pressure tolerance, and swift operation.
